IELTS

ugghh.. long time no see..

anyone familiar with IELTS..?? well, some of you might have, but i dont blame you if you dont. first time i heard about it, i wouldn't think that it's a kind of english proficiency test.. well, it is..

IELTS (international english language testing system) is another way to make your english-proficiency recognized. currently, more university worldwide use IELTS as their standard requirement for international student.

at first, i thought that it's no different from TOEFL, but it actually is in several things. IELTS consist of 4 main sections: speaking, reading, writing (duohh..!), also speaking (yes, they'll interview you..!!), and unlike TOEFL which only have "multiple-choice" answers, in IELTS you can have multiple-choice, short-answer, sentence-completion, diagram-completion, and classification task.. there's also task such as writing essay, your opinion about some facts, and so on. wow.. seem so hard to face, isn't it?

well i just thought that i'd write this in case that you might need to take IELTS sometime later.. and by the way, i found one inexpensive book yet quite useful about IELTS -->> "belajar IELTS" by Irham Ali S. (approx. 20.000 Rp).
